Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)

As you are required to ensure that all appliances such as electric kettles, fridges and washing machines, microwaves, tumble dryer provided as part of a tenancy agreement are safe, we recommend that you have these appliances tested at the beginning of each tenancy and yearly after.

As majority of electric shocks and deaths in the home are caused by faulty leads, plugs and appliances, all of these can be avoided by Landlords and tenants taking simple safety steps.

Tests on appliances that are on a construction/building site will only be given a three months certification if they pass because of the condition and nature of sites.

We simply do not give out certifications just for the sake of giving them out. We will only give a Safety Certification once it passes. Fail or pass, we have to charge the agreed price.
